RUNNING OUT OF LOCKDOWN: post “freedom day”

WHAT WE’RE DOING TO ENSURE OUR RUNNING TOURS ARE COVID SECURE

(JULY 2021 STATEMENT)

Post Monday 19th July, there are no legal restrictions around numbers gathering in outdoor settings or social contact.

We know that the majority of people are nervous about returning to normality.

We're continuing to implement some of the safeguarding measures that as a society we have put into place over the last 18 months.

Here is what RUN OF A KIND are doing to ensure our runs are Covid secure:

Before runs:

😷 We’re keeping our Covid-19 Coordinator and have updated our risk assessment;

😷 Full info, rules and reminders to read and confirm before you book;

😷 Reminder to not come if displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or if you’ve been told to self-isolate;

😷 We will honour all bookings indefinitely if you can't attend your booked date due to having symptoms or contracting coronavirus;

😷 We’ll also continue take some details so that we can inform you if someone on your tour tests positive for covid-19.

During runs:

😷 Keep a safe distance from each other and members of the public throughout the run and at stops;

😷 Care has been taken to ensure that our route is not within busy areas with a higher rate of transmission.

After runs:

😷 We will obey post-run venue rules, including the use of masks (so please bring one).

We continue to follow the guidance from the Government and England Athletics, which can be found on their relevent websites:
